Hi there! I’m Peggye, and I’m glad you’re here.

I grew up the youngest of six kids at a time when thrifting wasn’t cool.

It was necessary.

One of my favorite finds was a pair of purple velvet bell-bottom pants. Never mind that the knees were threadbare from playing. I LOVED those pants.

Then I raised three daughters, which gave me plenty of opportunities to perfect the art of finding great stuff without spending a fortune.

One daughter wanted designer labels.

One wanted variety.

And one wanted dress-up clothes.

Lots. And lots. And lots of dress-up clothes.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that I didn't just enjoy finding a bargain.

I loved the hunt.

You know the feeling.

You walk into a shop with no idea what you're going to find. You start digging. You see something interesting. Then something else catches your eye.

And suddenly you're thinking:

“Who needs this?”

“Do I have somewhere to wear this?”

“Is this really vintage?”

“I have absolutely no idea what this is, but I NEED it.”

That's the fun.

And that's why I created Thrift Avenue Tours.

We're taking that thrill of the hunt on the road.

Our tours bring together people who love thrift stores, resale shops, vintage finds, consignment treasures, designer bargains—and the possibility of finding something completely unexpected.

You'll ride with a group of fellow treasure hunters, explore some great shopping destinations, laugh a little, shop a lot, and hopefully go home with something you can't wait to show somebody.

Maybe it'll be a designer find for $12.

Maybe it'll be the perfect vintage piece.

Maybe it'll be something wonderfully weird.

That's okay.

Because sometimes the best part isn't what you bring home.

It's the adventure of looking.

So grab a friend, empty some space in your closet, and come hunt for treasure with us.
