Hi there!

I'm glad you're here, and I hope to see you on a tour, soon.

I grew up the youngest of six kids during a time when thrifting wasn't cool, but necessary. My fondest find was a pair of purple velvet bell bottom pants that my neighbor had outgrown and thrown in the trash. Never mind that the knees were thread bare from play. I LOVED those pants.

Later, raising three daughters presented opportunities for thriftiness. One daughter wanted designer labels, one wanted variety, and one daughter really only wanted dress up clothes - lots and lots of dress up clothes.

Thrift Avenue Tours exists to bring people together through the joy of treasure hunting. We create enjoyable, affordable shopping experiences that celebrate sustainability, support local resale businesses, and inspire the excitement of discovering something unexpected. Every tour is thoughtfully curated to offer a mix of unique shopping destinations and fun—because the best finds are often the ones you never knew you were looking for.

QUOTES TO LIVE BY:

"If you're not buying recycled products, you're not really recycling." — Ed Begley, Jr.

"The best way to look stylish on a budget is to try second-hand, bargain hunting, and vintage."                              — Orlando Bloom

"The whole thing of clothes is insane. You can spend a dollar on a jacket in a thrift store. And you can spend a thousand dollars on a jacket in a shop. And if you saw those two jackets walking down the street, you probably wouldn’t know which was which."

                                            — Helen Mirren
